S.T.A.DY Dance: Skills & Tools to Address Diversity in Dance Training

The two year project S.T.A.DY Dance: Skills and Tools to Address Diversity in Dance training, commenced in September 2016 and is funded by the Erasmus+/KA2- KA2 – Strategic Partnerships for vocational education and training.
The project focuses on the development of alternative training methods through exchange of practices, teachers’ training and pilot implementation in order to create a common model of improved techniques that will reinforce the educational profile of professional dance trainers and enhance their capacity when addressing diverse target groups of trainees.
The coordination is held by Dudley College of Technology (U.K.) and the partner institutions are: Ι.Ε.Κ. ΑΞΙΑ (Greece), Companhia de Danca de Almada (Portugal), Society of Cypriot Studies (Cyprus) και Viksjoforsbaletten (Sweden).
During the implementation of the project Ι.Ε.Κ. ΑΞΙΑ will collaborate with the House of Performing Arts for the training activities in the transnational meetings.
The outcomes of the project include a Manual of Good Practices, a DVD and a website stadydance.eu.
